Sometimes you want to get away without having to plan every detail yourself.
Trips & Tips by T Group Adventures are hosted trips designed to make getting out and exploring easy. I take care of the planning, transportation, reservations, timing, and other details that go into putting the trip together—then I come along for the adventure too.
All you have to do is reserve your spot, show up, and enjoy the experience.
Group Adventures are planned and hosted trips departing from Southeast Iowa and traveling to destinations throughout Iowa and beyond.
And they aren't limited to just one day.
Depending on the adventure, you may find:
Some adventures may be close to home, while others give us a reason to pack a bag for a night or two.
The destination may change, but the idea stays the same:
I handle the details so you can enjoy the trip.
Every Group Adventure is a little different, so what's included will depend on the trip.
Your adventure may include:
Before you reserve your spot, you'll always know exactly what's included, what's not, and what to expect during the trip.
A group trip doesn't have to mean being rushed from one place to another all day.
I plan Group Adventures with a balance of organized experiences and time to actually enjoy where we are. Depending on the trip, that might mean a scheduled tour followed by free time to shop, grab a coffee, explore on your own, or simply relax.
The goal isn't to fit as much as possible into every minute.
It's to create a trip that's worth taking.
Accessibility is an important part of how I plan my public Group Adventures.
I use ADA-accessible motorcoach transportation for my public group trips and consider accessibility when researching the destinations, attractions, hotels, restaurants, and experiences included along the way.
And accessibility isn't only about wheelchair access. Mobility, pacing, hearing, visual, sensory, and other individual needs can all affect how comfortable and enjoyable a trip feels.
If you have an accessibility need, please let me know when you're considering an adventure. I'm happy to talk through the trip with you so you can make an informed decision about whether it will work well for you.
You don't need to put together your own group to join a Group Adventure.
Come with your spouse, partner, best friend, sibling, neighbor—or come by yourself.
These trips are for adults of different ages and stages of life who enjoy exploring new places but don't necessarily want the hassle of planning the trip, figuring out transportation, or doing all the driving themselves.
And sometimes one of the best parts of group travel is meeting people you never would have met otherwise.
These aren't cookie-cutter bus tours pulled from a catalog.
I personally research and plan my Group Adventures, choosing destinations and experiences I think are genuinely worth your time and money.
I pay attention to the details: how long we'll be on the road, how the day flows, where we'll eat, how much free time makes sense, accessibility, pacing, and the little stops or experiences that can turn a good trip into a great one.
Then I travel with the group, so you have someone there helping keep everything running smoothly.
You get to concentrate on the fun part.
This is where you'll find the adventures currently open for registration.
Each trip will have its own details, including the date, destination, departure location, what's included, pricing, accessibility information, registration deadline, and how to reserve your spot.
Don't see the right adventure yet? Keep checking back—there's always another trip in the works.
Some Group Adventures will have limited seating, and once they're full, they're full.
Join the Trips & Tips by T email list or follow along on social media to hear about newly announced trips, registration dates, and upcoming destinations.
Part of the fun is deciding where the next adventure should take us.
From a one-day getaway close to home to a weekend road trip, a big game, a holiday experience, or somewhere completely unexpected, there are a lot of places we can go together.
Your next adventure might be closer than you think.

It's a chance to relax, enjoy a good meal together and get ready for an afternoon of Christmas fun.
Then the afternoon is yours!

How you spend your free time is completely up to you.
Specific Prelude to Christmas activities and schedules are determined by the Amana Colonies and may vary.
When our Christmas adventure comes to an end, simply climb back aboard, put your feet up and relax while we handle the drive home.
